Azza Fahmy’s Tales of the Nile High Jewellery Collection is a vivid expression of the brand’s rich history, bringing together intricate craftsmanship, iconic symbolism and rare gemstones in a series of one-of-a-kind creations. Drawing on iconic calligraphies, ancient symbols and time-honoured techniques, each piece reflects a deep engagement with Egypt’s heritage and the knowledge preserved through generations of skilled craftsmanship.
Azza Fahmy has always been inspired by Egyptian heritage and craftsmanship, and this collection synthesizes the many influences she draws upon and combines them with gemstones hand-selected by Amina Ghali for their affinity to the many moods of the Nile landscape. Each piece is a visual poem that tells the Tales of the Nile through the symbols of its history: the lotus blossoming on the riverbanks embodies divine creation, crescent moons shining above it give hope of renewal, and flowing calligraphies entwine to sing of love and blessing. Life is transformed into art and memory becomes timeless adornment.
The design journey with the stone, its natural form setting the tone for the creation of intricate designs. The design process is then carefully mastered, with each piece crafted around the stone’s unique form. Every mount, every petal, every inscription, every wire twisted, and every signature element of ours takes into account the stone's individuality.

For millennia, the Nile has been the one constant in Egypt’s history, a flowing archive of the shifting landscapes and many lifetimes lived along its banks. The ancient Egyptians composed hymns in its honour, Mamluk historians described its wonders, and modern poets pledged their souls to this most divine of all rivers. Tales of the Nile, our High Jewellery Collection is a visual poem that tells the story of the river through the symbols of its history: blossoming lotus flowers embody divine creation, shining crescent moons give hope of renewal, and flowing calligraphies entwine to sing of love and blessing.
